“The 21st Printing South China” and “Sino-Label 2014” come to a successful close at China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou on March 5, 2014, with exhibitors and buyers altogether being satisfied with the positive outcomes. As South China’s leading printing, label and packaging fair which occupied 90,000 sqm of exhibition area, the 3-days Printing South China welcomed 1,200 exhibitors and 63,000+ visitors from all corners of the globe.

Printing South China is the annual premier event for the global printing business, serving as a hub for printing-related businesses and a buying platform for industry professionals. The concurrent show, Sino-Label 2014, gathered 300 exhibitors which included label printing machinery and label material suppliers. HP shared their label and packaging systems in bulk volume productions.  HaoTian introduced self-developed and the world’s first PS + Letterpress printing system and different latest generation printers. Label printing materials exhibitors such as Avery Dennison, ZhongShan Fuzhou, Yupo, JinDa and DiCheng exhibited new products with exclusive, distinguishing security, eco-friendly and small-order features. 

The fair was highlighted by a series of events that included “The Art of Printing – Culture Creative Display Zone,” organized by Guangdong Printing and Replicating Industries Association.  This zone displayed the “Top 10 Most Competitive Printers” and “Top 10 Printers with Integrity” winners’ products. 

“The 25th Hong Kong Print Awards” and the related seminar “Diversified Packaging Design for Unique Printing,” co-partnered with Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong, brought recognition to excellence to the Hong Kong printing and packaging industry.  A Symposium on “Innovative Applications on the Future Development of Green Packaging Printing,” organized by Professional Packaging & Printing Committee of Guangdong Packaging Technology Association, explored the application of green packaging technology.

Label industry representatives from different regions discussed the coordination of the label printing supply chain during a symposium on “Enter the New Era of Label Printing Application.” A symposium on “Digital Label Printing and Packaging Technology & Application” invited experts to share their experiences and the latest trends and features of digital label printing.
